Please Read Carefully

These Terms of Use govern your access to the TapChow application, website, and dashboard portals. By placing an order, onboarding a restaurant branch, or coordinating deliveries, you agree to comply with and be bound by these legal rules.

1. Terms & Agreement

Welcome to TapChow! These Terms of Use (the "Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you", or "your") and BitBiz Nigeria Limited("we", "us", or "our"), governing your use of our mobile applications, web portals, delivery networks, and support services.

If you do not agree to all of the terms, rules, and conditions set forth in this document, you must immediately cease accessing the platform and delete any accounts associated with TapChow.

2. Registration & Accounts

To place orders or act as a restaurant branch operator, you must register for a TapChow account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete details during signup.
  • Keep your login credentials secure. You are fully responsible for all activities occurring under your account.
  • Notify us immediately at support@tapchowng.com if you suspect unauthorized access or security breaches.

Vendor Accounts: Restaurant owners must submit valid KYC documents, business registration details, and bank account credentials. We reserve the right to temporarily freeze settlements or block branch dashboards if details cannot be verified.

3. Ordering & Fulfillment

TapChow operates as an intermediary marketplace connecting customers with local restaurants and delivery partners.

Restaurant Preparation: Once a customer places and pays for an order, the branch team accepts it and moves it into preparation. Restaurants are responsible for updating food availability and maintaining sanitary food prep standards.

Delivery Coordination: Delivery fees are calculated dynamically based on real-time distances between the restaurant branch and the customer address. Delivery coordinates must be entered accurately to prevent fulfillment failures.

4. Payments, Fees & Settlement

All customer checkouts are initiated and processed through secure payment gateways (Paystack).

  • Pricing: Prices on branch menus are set directly by restaurant owners. TapChow may apply a delivery fee, service charge, or promotional discount.
  • Refunds: Refund requests for stale food, missing items, or delivery issues must be submitted to support within 2 hours of order delivery. Refunds are assessed on a case-by-case basis and disbursed to user wallets.
  • Vendor Withdrawals: Verified restaurant owners can request manual or automated settlements to their linked bank accounts, subject to standard transaction processing fees.

5. Intellectual Property

All content included on the TapChow application, website, and dashboard—such as logos, graphics, icons, text, layouts, software code, and database architecture—is the property of BitBiz Nigeria Limited or our licensors and is protected by Nigerian and international copyright and trademark laws.

You may not copy, scrape, reverse-engineer, modify, or distribute any part of the TapChow software without our express written consent.

6. Prohibited Activities

When using the TapChow app or vendor portals, you agree not to:

Upload false menu pricing or misrepresent restaurant licenses.
Initiate chargeback fraud or make malicious order cancellations.
Attempt to disrupt or hack into our API, databases, or client applications.
Harass or verbally abuse delivery partners or support operators.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BITBIZ NIGERIA LIMITED AND ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND PARTNERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM.

TapChow does not prepare meals and does not guarantee the taste, safety, or nutritional suitability of any food items prepared by third-party restaurant partners. Food allergen information and ingredient lists are the sole responsibility of individual kitchen branches.

8. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the **Federal Republic of Nigeria**.

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of these Terms shall first be referred to amicable settlement by mediation. If unresolved within 30 days of initiating mediation, the dispute shall be resolved by arbitration in Osun State under the Arbitration and Mediation Act of Nigeria.
